Nokia announced New Smartphones Lumia 920 & Lumia 820

Nokia position had declined after Apple and Samsung entered the Indian markets. In order to regain its position in the market, Nokia  has launched its two new smartphone.

The Finnish company has recently announced its two new Nokia Lumia phones, Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 that runs on Windows Phone 8 operating system.

 Nokia is quite excited about Lumia 920 as this device has got some amazing features like Nokia PureView imaging which uses advanced floating lens technology. You don’t require flash in this smartphone as it is able to take five times more light than any other smartphones.

The Executive Vice President of Nokia Smart Device Mr. Jo Harlow has said that “With the Nokia Lumia 920 we have made it possible to shoot pictures and video at home, outdoors, in a restaurant or even at night, and come out with professional-looking results.”

Lumia 920 includes amazing features like 4.5-inch Nokia PureMotion HD + WXGA IPS LCD super sensitive touch, 2000 mAh battery with integrated Qi wireless charging, 1.5 GHz Dual Core Snapdragon S4, 8.7 MP Camera with Nokia PureView, Carl Zeiss optics, Full 1080p HD video capture at 30fps, 1.2 MP Front Camera with 720pHD video, 1 GB RAM and 2GB mass memory with 7GB free SkyDrive storage.

Nokia Lumia 820 also includes cool features like 4.3 inch ClearBlack OLED WVGA 800 x480 Super Sensitive touch, 1650 mAh battery with support for Qi wireless charging, 1.5 GHz Dual Core Snapdragon S4, 8 MP Auto Focus Camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Dual LED flash and Full HD 1080p video capture at 30fps, VGA Front Camera, 1GB RAM and 8 GB mass memory with microSD support also 7 GB free SkyDrive storage.

The company hasn’t disclosed the price and availability of Lumia 920 and Lumia 820.

Micromax launched new Smartphone A 87 Ninja 4


Micromax an Indian based mobile company has again strike back with its new latest Smartphone Ninja 4. The handset has 4-inch capacitive touchscreen. The A 87 Ninja 4 runs on Android Gingerbird OS and it is powered by 1 GHz Qualcomm processor.

This smartphone includes features like 2 MP fixed focus camera, connectivity options like 3G, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and GPS. It has 1400 mAh battery same as Ninja 3. The device has expandable memory up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Micromax A 87 Ninja 4 comes in three colours black, white and black & white. The smartphone will be available in the market from this week onward and it will be available at price Rs. 5,999/-

Though both Ninja 3 and Ninja 4 have more or less same features, they both will definitely create good impact in the market as both are mid- budget smartphones which will make a good impression in the mind of its customers.

Smart A18 dual-SIM smartphone launched by Karbonn


Karboon Mobiles the home grown cell phone maker has recently launched the Karbonn Smart A18, a new flagship smartphone under the ‘Smart’ line up. 

The gadget runs on Android 4.0 ICS and it is powered by 1GHz processor.This device has 4.3-inch display and it runs on a 1,500 mAh battery.  The Smart A18 also has 5.0MP snapper and 1.3 MP front facing camera as well.

This gadget is a dual SIM smartphone with SIM 1 capable of 3G connectivity while SIM 2 supports 2G.  The device has expandable storage capacity up to 32 GB.The Smart A18 supports 3G and 2G connectivity along with Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot and USB tethering (G-Sensor, Magnetic G-Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and Light Sensor).

This device also comes with Google Apps like Google Maps, Google Currents, Gmail, Google Search and Pre-Embedded Apps like Facebook, Whatsapp, Karbonn Smart Browser, King soft Office, NexGtv and PayTM.

The Executive Director of Karbonn Mobiles Shashin Devsare had said during the introduction of the Karbonn Smart A18 smartphone that “Through this product, we wish to strengthen our positioning as a global leader in technologically advanced networked devices and intend to bring engaged mobility solutions to the consumers all across the world.”

Karbonn Smart A18 smartphone is priced well at Rs.12, 990/- and it availability is yet to be announced by the company.

S series Ultrabook & F series Notebook Launched by Asus


Asus has launched its Intel 3rd Generation core processor based Ultrabook S series and F series Notebook in Indian markets today.

The Managing Director of System Business Group Asus India Mr. Alex Haung has said that “We cherish our association with Intel and Microsoft. Our association is growing stronger with Intel and we intend to continue delivering great offerings to our customers with this association. We are increasing Microsoft based Notebook share in our overall product portfolio. With the launch of S series and F series, we are confident of wooing the market further.”

Asus S series Ultrabook is loaded with lots of fantastic features. The S series weighs 2.4 KGs, has a 15.6 inches HD LED backlight Glare display with HD 0.92 megapixel, 1280 x 720 resolution camera.
The device also comes with Hybrid storage that comprises of 24GB SSD storage and 500 GB/750 GB HDD. It has Genuine Windows 7 Home Basic. This gadget also offers true 2-second instant resume from sleep mode.

The S series has ASUS Super Hybrid Engine II technology which provides up to 13 days stand by.

F501A-XX187R comes under Asus F series. This is Notebook is thin and light in weight.  This device has Intel i3 processor 2350M, 2.3G, 3M. Its screen size is 15.6-inches. This gadget also supports an instant on in 2 seconds and has a 14 days standby.F series notebook is loaded with Windows 7 Home Basic and an HDD capacity with 500GB 5400rpm. It also has webcam of 0.3MP.

Asus has come up with an IceCool technology that keeps palm rests cool, placing heat- producing components away from the users.

S series that comprises of S56CA-XX030R and S56CA-XX056R are available at price INR 46,999/- and INR 52,999/- respectively.  A year long onsite warranty has been given.

Notebook Series 9 launched by Samsung in India for Rs 1.02 lakh


Samsung Electronics has launched the second generation of Samsung Notebook Series 9 in the Indian market. The device has been launched at the price of Rs 1.02 lakh.

The Series 9 is believed to be world thinnest and compact notebook. The device is designed and engineered in such a unique way that it fits into the PCs innovative single shell body.

The Country head of Samsung mobile and IT Ranjit Yadav has stated that “The new Samsung Notebook Series 9 represents the ultimate in Samsung craftsmanship towards precision engineering and premium design.”

The gadget also features Samsung’s MaxScreen technology that minimizes the bezel size while maximizing the screen size by an extra inch. The device has 13.3 inch HD, LED backlit screen (1600 x 900 pixels resolution) and it weighs just 1.16kg. The company claims it to be 28 percent smaller than its predecessor.

The Series 9 notebook is powered by Intel i7 3517U CPU running at 1.9 GHz with 4MB of L3 cache. This series also has 4 GB or DDR3 RAM.

Smartphones to be launched in India by Lenovo


Lenovo is the world second largest computer manufacturer and it is all set to launch smartphones in India. Bloomberg Business Week has reported that the company will launch smartphones in India, the Philippines and Indonesia to gain more heft and experience before entering developed markets such as the US.

Lenovo had launched the smartphones segment in China around two years ago. Lenovo has overtaken Apple from its second place in China, which is the world’s largest mobile market according to IDC data.

The recent data has shown that LePhone from Lenovo has taken 11 per cent of market share in china in the second quarter. It went up from a single digit percentage in the first quarter when it was ranked 7th. However Samsung Electronics has maintained its lead in the Chinese smartphone market with share of 16 per cent. Apple is on 4th position in the Chinese market.

Samsung and Nokia leading Global handset vendors have been chasing to increase their market share in China, where there are more than 1 billion mobile users. China is all set to overtake US as the world’s largest smartphone market this year.

Research house Gartner has recently said that Lenovo is the biggest vendor of personal computers in India.

Micromax announced new Smartphone Ninja 3 (A57)


Micromax the home grown mobile phone manufacturer has announced Ninja 3(A57). This device comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 3.5-inch full capacitive touchscreen and it has got dual SIM support with dual standby.

The micromax person has said that Ninja 3 will be available in the Indian market from Sunday 2nd August and the device has been priced at INR 4,999/-.

This device covers lot of amazing features like 3 megapixel rear camera, 1400 mAh battery, 32 GB expandable memory, 256 MB RAM, 512MB ROM and 1 Ghz Qualcomm processor. This 3G mobile phone comes with normal Android features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS etc. It also has FM radio. Ninja 3 A57 Superfone comes with extra yellow and black coloured panels.
