Lava has made a sudden move in the world of tablets. It has launched Lava E-Tab Z7H that runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich (version 4.0.3). This is the first tablet from company that has a 7-inch TFT LCD touchscreen. The price of this tab in India is INR 5,899.
The other unique features included in E-Tab Z7H are 1.2 GHZ Cortex-A8 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, 2800mAh battery and 3G dongle support. The primary camera is also included in this tab. It has 0.3Mega Pixel.
The company has added its custom Flick UI in the operating system of the device. This tab also provides educational and entertainment apps on the device as the company have tied up with Hungama.com, McGraw Hill and Flipkart. E-Tab Z7H comes with pre-loaded 14 e-books which includes Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam’s Envisioning an Empowered Nation, Word power, Dhiru Bhai Ambani’s Biography etc.
The Vice President and MD of McGraw-Hill Education has said that “They believe that tablet based educational applications are the future of education in India. They are delighted to work with LAVA to help students and readers gain access to McGraw-Hill Education’s world-class, acclaimed educational content and services through tablet devices.”
